A multi-skilled artist, writer and craftsman, Evelyn Beverly lives a relatively quiet life with his extended family and community in a small Eastern town.
At considerable personal cost, the author, a forty-something father and grandfather, has made an outwardly ordinary life, but in reality is truly known only by a few long time trusted friends. Distaining the brash politics and incestuous community dynamics of the art world, the author is an outsiders’ outsider.
Intensely private but with a public face, and having forsaken a career in the arts, the author supports his family as a successful business and systems analyst, who nonetheless makes time for the hard work that brings inner visions to reality. This is his first novel.
