Megan Powell was raised on a steady diet of Star Wars, Dr. Who, Oz books, DragonLance and Greek mythology. Having absorbed what she could from upstate New York, she attended Bryn Mawr College and graduated with a degree in History. She lives in suburban Philadelphia with her husband Larry, one large cat, one very large cat, and a fluid number of computers.
Megan’s short fiction has been published in various magazines and anthologies, including The Eternal Night, Orchard Press Mysteries, Ideomancer, Here & Now, Underworlds, The Blackest Death Vol. 1 and several Double Dragon anthologies. Three novels (Waxing, Widdershins and Warlocks) are scheduled for release by Zumaya Publications.
Her editorial work includes the webzines Fables and Shred of Evidence and three anthologies (Nemeton, The Witching Hour, and Crossings). Three additional anthologies are forthcoming.
